Combining modern art with laid back Provençale chic, Shannon & Arthur’s exquisitely chic wedding at Domaine Monte Verdi was a joy and a super-stylish day to remember. Their brief made my heart sing: playful lettering, illustrated surrealist elements and custom die-cut shapes. Their colour palette was bright, bold and effervescent. It was always going to be an incredibly special occasion!

Shannon & Arthur chose to perfectly set the tone for their wedding day with a simple yet chic save the date, featuring hand lettering exquisitely pressed in Californian poppy orange (a nod to Shannon’s homeplace) which was paired with a beautiful azure envelopes. We built on this for the invitations, bringing in free-flowing organic shapes, loose modern calligraphy and illustration.

Planned to perfection by MC2 Mon Amour at the incredible Domaine Monte Verdi, a laid back & picturesque estate in the Provence Alpes. A wedding at Domaine Monte Verdi is a dream come true. Surrounded by picturesque vineyards, the venue offers a romantic and enchanting setting. With impeccable service, exquisite cuisine, and a touch of rustic charm, it creates an unforgettable celebration of love.

The table styling was kept simple and classy, with letterpressed and die-cut individual menus in pretty pink and red. The calligraphy placecards mimicked the welcome party card with an elegant pop of navy and gold. We also added ice-breaker cards to each table, reflecting places they had worked and lived: From where they met in New York, to San Francisco, London and Arthur’s Parisian childhood.

Grania was absolute pleasure and joy to work with. She created the most stunning wedding stationery for us - it was exactly what we wanted and more due to Grania's endless creativity and her flawless execution.
