As the snow starts to melt in London, I wanted to share with you this beautiful Ink & Paper couple who got married in Braemar last February, shortly before Covid struck. This fabulously creative couple came to me to create their bespoke wedding invitations. Alyce had a crystal clear idea in her mind of what she wanted, and she spent the months running up to booking her wedding stationery collecting beautiful vintage postcards of Braemar. We used gorgeous, thick 540gsm sage green Colorplan and elegantly letterpressed in gold ink the wedding details. Alyce then used a gold paperclip to attach the vintage postcard to the invitation.

Interior stylist, Alyce and artist, Henry got married at Mar Lodge in Braemar. The location holds a special place in their hearts as Henry’s family have visited the village at Christmas since he was a child. This personal connection and the breathtaking surroundings of the Cairngorms mountains made it an incredibly special place to get married.
