East London Cool at The Singer Tavern

Real Wedding: Pauline & Fabio

Barbican Wedding Stationery London

Have you ever seen a couple quite as effortlessly cool as these guys? I was over the moon to be asked to create on the day details for Pauline & Fabio’s super chic East London wedding.

The day kicked off in an AirBnB in Shoreditch and first look photos around the Barbican, before a beautiful ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall and then back to East London for a glorious reception at the Singer Tavern.

They hired a vintage Mercedes which Fabio drove up to the ceremony and they used as their getaway car after the ceremony.

I created place cards, menus and various items of signage to scatter around the venue (and it is a magnificent venue! A former sewing machine HQ - hence the name - with a basement area for partying and a gorgeously elegant upstairs bar area).

The tables were named after restaurants around the world that this globetrotting couple had dined at - with the exception of the head table which was reserved for their honeymoon in New Zealand.

Favours were striking succulents, painstakingly potted into individual terrariums by the bride and groom in the run up to the wedding, and were a nod to where the couple first met (Mexico).

Shoreditch Wedding Menu

Thank you so much for doing such a great job at our wedding stationery. Everyone was commenting about how beautiful the menus, place settings and table plan looked. Everything you made for us exceeded our expectations and I cannot recommend Ink & Paper highly enough!
